  1. Jess, dill seed is also a tasty spice. If the dill goes to seed quickly, I’d use it in your pickles instead of the leaves. I like the more earthy flavor over the grassy flavor.

  2. Amazing transformation! I only have a few tomatoes and strawberries this year. Hopefully have a little more next year. Just got my third Beulah order!

  3. I find violas taste like wax lips from my childhood. My son and brother-in-law agreed. They grow in the winter here in Florida and when it’s time to put in my tomato plants I put them in between the violas for protection until I need to prune the bottoms of the tomatoes. Then they come out and I make compost tea with them.

  4. Jets you are out in left field and not with it today in your video ❗

  5. Good grief, let me just start by saying your Tea and Herb Garden RESET video feels like the kind of soul-soothing masterpiece that could convince even the most chaotic among us that transformation is possible, because wow, the way you turn dirt, wilted leaves, and botanical despair into something serene is basically emotional therapy disguised as gardening content, and I swear my heart whispered thank you before my brain even caught up. Whew, the moment you said gratifying before and after, I felt that in my spine because last spring I tried to reset my own herb corner and oh boy, halfway through I discovered my mint had staged a coup, my rosemary was clinging to life like a Victorian child in a novel, and my basil had the audacity to look at me like “Really? This is the care you offer?” and I just stood there going “Huh…” while negotiating with a pot that somehow contained both soil and a fork. And honestly, watching you prune, tidy, and revive your garden made me remember this one afternoon when I was overwhelmed with life and decided to repot a sad little thyme plant, and as I worked, something in me softened, like productivity isn’t about speed but about reconnecting with the tiny things that remind us we’re still growing, even when we feel stuck. So when you said reset, my whole soul said “Alright then” because your video isn’t just about plants, it’s about communication with yourself, about choosing calm, about saying “Let’s see what happens if I try again,” and thank heavens for creators like you who make the rest of us believe that if you can revive a garden, then maybe I can revive the mysterious herb jar in my kitchen that smells like ambition and regret.

  6. LOL…Yea, that's what I refer to as JUMPING….I tend to do it a LOT….Jumping from one thing to the next, and not focusing on the main subject. I can remember walking in the house for a specific item. I even picked up that item, but on my way out of the house I spotted something the trash can over filled and it reminded me of what day it was. I laid my item down on the counter, bagged up the trash and took the can to the road. While at the road, I checked the mailbox. Heading back down with the mail I spotted a tree half dead in the woods and thought "Hmmm, maybe just grab the chainsaw and get it down on the ground" but next thing I know, I'm heading to the store for fresh gas because the saw hasn't been run since year before last. Go to the store, only to arrive back at the house with a neighbor standing at my front door asking about the original item he asked to borrow. OH YEA, I left it on the counter about 6 hours ago. It's REAL. Very REAL.

  7. I often feel overwhelmed when I first get out to clean up my garden spaces, love seeing I’m not the only one ❤ I also love seeing a before and after!

  8. My raised garden beds are still frozen here in Minnesota. Anxiously awaiting the start of the season! A few years ago we had a warm spring and I planted my potatoes on March 31. Not this year!

  9. I haven’t watched your video yet but I will and this may be a little off topic…or maybe not, because what’s better than a cup of tea and a great book. If you haven’t read Theo of Golden, you must. I couldn’t put it down but I didn’t want it to end. I’ve mourned that book like a lost friend. It has the ability to change lives and change perspectives. You can’t read it to the end and not want to be a kinder and more generous person. You have said you’re an avid reader and this book has so touched me that I had to share. Enjoy!

  10. Please share the chive vinegar recipe on the kitchen table 😊🙏 your tea garden looks amazing, how satisfying with a smaller garden and the fast progress.

  11. This makes me want to get outside and work on my flower beds and create a new little herb garden. And I am going to put some kind of chair or glider in the herb garden. But it's 46° for the high temperature today, so I am debating staying inside and do some sewing instead

  12. I have a hard time watching your videos all the way through lately cause every time I start watching I get inspired to get outside and work in the garden! 😂

  13. Jess your herb & tea garden is soo beautiful. You have some of the best help on the entire planet. TY for gardening inspiration. Father God bless all of you!

  14. It amazes me how lush everything is already for you. We are still in freezes every night and snow but things are starting to wake up. Harlow reminds me so much of Ben in Early videos. Feels like a glimpse of what Jess would have been like at that age, helpful curious, and learning all the words.

  15. Oh my goodness how much she has grown! And such a good helper too! Reminds me of when Ben was little and tagging along with you in your Arkansas garden! Your herb and tea garden is looking so lovely already! Blessings Kiddo!🙏💚🌿

  16. Awesome before and after. It’s so gratifying 😊
Hubby would please like to know what kind of wheelbarrow you have and where you purchased ? Tgg he and you 😊
    God Bless ❤

  17. At about 12:48 it sounds like a child saying Mom,Mom, Mom, over and over! I think its a bird. Boy I remember working in the garden and the kids calling Mom Mom when i was a busy bee trying to get things done and they we just fine!

  18. So sweet to have a dedicated garden to tea and herbs. You motivate me and I am working bit by bit, enjoy your days in the sun.

  19. My sister and I were JUST talking about an herb and tea garden, but in GreenStalks, I cannot wait to send her this video. Commenting even before I watch because I know it will be interesting and informative.

  20. Oh so love hearing the birds singing as you all work together! So beautiful! Blessed Easter 2026 to a!!.🐣🐇🐞🌷🐝💐👼😘

  21. Jess, you should totally make a few smudge sticks with your dried bundles of sage and lavender for your gift baskets later in the year. Even if you don't believe in the native practice of cleansing it's still a lovely calming smell for the home and even some research to support air purification due to the antimicrobial properties in the plants.

  22. This video is perfect for me, today. We had a chilly cold front come through and it's too cold for me to work in the garden today, so I am working on some inside projects. What better way than to watch you spruce up your gardens while I work. I'll be back at it tomorrow, we'll be back in the 80s again.

  23. I planted fennel 1 year and got many caterpillars on it. They then moved to my parsley. I have wanted to grow it again since but have had no luck. Need new seeds. God bless!!!!

  24. you and miah are so sweet <3

creating something and working hard and taking care of things certainly is so good for us – harvest or not. thanks for that take!
