There is no small or large form there are different plants at different maturities. Some plants may need more light/nutrients/environments because no two plants will grow exactly the same.

The “small” and “large” form classifications have to do with the stem, not the leaf. Small form monsteras (Adansonii and Alba) have thin stem where the leaves come from, the large form (deliciosa) have a thick stem body.
