Dumb. Why would you fill it with water instead of Neem oil?

/uj: depends on the plant. Hard no for succulents/cacti. Aroids would probably love this. I have something similar for my Pilea, it’s now pushing 4 babies from the stem and 2 other offshoots further from the mother plant. Not dumb at all if you actually keep a decent eye on what the plants are telling you.
/j: dumb unless you fill with 70% acetic acid and dish soap.

I got one that my pothos plant came in from Walmart. I like it.

I have a bunch that work well for certain plants, but what I hate is the one that came with my monstera which you have to fill by pouring water through the soil. The fungus gnats love that.

I mean you can make one for free at home. Plant stuff is unnecessarily expensive imo. I have some of my water loving plants in their pot that’s stuck in a bigger cup with water and some basic macrame style string feeding back into the pot.

UJ: Basically Kratky hydroponics if they know to switch out the water often and apply fertilizer/water solution and not just straight up water.
Not efficient, but fun and potential for some success
