Some people say I’m crazy for killing my grass and then meticulously moving every yellow wood sorrel I find to this spot… I just hope my grandson doesn’t kill it when I’m gone.
Last year the plastic was in the spot that has wood sorrel now. This year, you can see it’s been moved to the other side of the eagleston hollies to kill the bermuda on that side.
I added composted cow manure to increase phosphorous and encourage more flowering. I moved more than 50 tiny sorrels from other parts of the yard and from plant containers to this spot. They’ve shown significant growth these past weeks.

I love this plant! It’ll look amazing once it’s filled in. Do you have plans of bringing in some friends to keep it company?

Ooh I am intrigued – does this typically transplant well? I have some bare spots but also plenty of sorrel patches!
