I got this plant as a gift when it only had 2 leaves about 6 months ago. I put it on a moss pole at the same time I put my syngonium on a moss pole, the syngonium is thriving and my monstera peru looks so bad. I've heard it's hard to propagate these guys, so I'm hesitant to chop and prop. It's just such an eye sore in my collection despite being one of the most expensive ones i have… please help! It lives right next to an east facing window currently, and it's not rooting at all into the pot I have, so i hesitate to extend the moss pole more or report her.

Wait, is it inside the mosspole? Never seen that before but I’m not an expert so I won’t judge.
Normally the stem and vines are in front/next to the moss pole with the aerial roots growing into the pole and thus securing itself.
I’ve got no clue if this actually is bad for the plant I just never seen it before
You can’t they are always ugly and leggy . I gave up the fight. I just trim it back and give away clippings all the time.
Shouldn’t have let it grow inside the moss pole
I’d cut it back
Never seen a moss pole used like this before and I actually really like the way it looks! It doesn’t look like it’s doing any damage but definitely worth making sure it keeps moist so that roots across the stem are encouraged to grow, and routinely checking the stems/ any new growth aren’t being suffocated/ rotting inside the pole.
As the other commenter said, they do just kind of look like this. If you want it to be prettier and less leggy, a chop and prop is the only solution really. If there are established aerial roots already, you could just chop the top few leaves and replant all together into a (slightly wider base) container so you eventually get the effect of bushier growth from multiple plants.
Is it possible it has/had thrips? That damage at the bottom looks like it
