Hiya need some help! I have a somewhat neglected monstera (i’ve been meaning to repot and separate it for almost 1.5-2years now). I think there are maybe 8 in the pot (4 nice chonky branches and a few small ones i’m not opposed to cutting at the base). So feels too mature to try and separate now.

What would the experts do? Just repot it and stake the big vines? Or chop and reroot some of the chonkier ones into their own pots (or 2 per) and let this pot just do its thing?

I like the full look it has and have other monsteras (thai, mint, and adansonii) that i have on a moss pole so would realistically not put too much more effort into this one. Maybe a few wood stakes? TY!

If I were you, I would chop and prop the 2 most mature. You can pot them in the same pot for fullness if you’d like

I don’t know if I’m an expert but I’ve owned… 20 or so delicosas over the years.

I think it looks great. Pot it up into something 2” bigger, loosen the roots and give it a stake for support. Keep giving it lots of light and fertilize it. If you want to give it some room you could pull some of the little junior off shoots out (carefully).
