I had these cacti for over a year now and they’ve recently started changing colour. The grafted one even got a crack in it. They are not soft so I presume it’s not rot. They are exposed to 3h of direct sunlight per day and even more in summer. What’s the reason for this discolouration? Is the damage recoverable?

They need more sun 3 hours is not enough. I would invest in a small grow light.
Cracking might be edema from overwatering. Getting so little light would exacerbate that.
Also looks like the soil is very sandy, even though it’s inorganic the fine particle size can cause it to hold onto moisture more
They need more sun (buy a grow light sansi bulbs are cheap get a few), the soil looks not good (do 50% soil and 50% perlite or pumice, and the pot needs a drainage hole (I can’t tell if it has it).
Are there holes in the pots? How often do you water? Are they in unfiltered light.
First one is because it’s not supposed to exist being man made gimmick to make you waste money, though it’s mostly done to dragon fruit don’t know why they do this to two perfectly beautiful cacti
