Currently working/fixing some stuff on our new house. Is it recommended to place pavers under the deck? it's mostly gravel at the moment. Thanks for any/all advice!
I wouldn’t. Just make sure there’s a good slope away from the house. Also, fix those railings!!

I’d just leave the gravel . I would add 10 ‘ downspout extensions to get water away from house .

May want to put some chain link (or other) fencing to keep the animals from finding a home.

I put down plastic and then small pebbles. It’s only been a year, but it’s holding up well. However, I’m trying to think of a way to outline the area under the deck just to define it and make mowing/trimming easier.

Congrats on your new home, cute little set up. Never heard of the need to put pavers under a deck, especially if you have gravel. Wondering why, did you hear something? Also, if possible, maybe one day in the future you could look into moving your heating/cooling systems to the left of the building under the tree area??

Why? Terrible idea

Ugh, the struggle is real. My lawn looked exactly like this last season when the heat kicked in. 🥵 Have you tried the tuna can test to see if your sprinklers are actually hitting those spots? Might just be thirsty
