Hello,
We have a large Doug Fir in our backyard. In the last year, one of its roots has become more visible. The bark is flaking off easily and moves when stepped on. Can see where something scratched at it and the gaps under it. The other roots aren’t visible and the crown looks healthy otherwise. Thoughts on what next steps should be?
