Hey guys quick question, it’s my first monstera and was wondering when should i attach it to the pole? I feel like attaching stem of the leaves is not right… and that’s all i got for now 😅
From what I can tell there’s about 3 or four baby plants in there 😅 you might wanna think about splitting them up (maybe 2 and 2) if you wanna attach the pole correctly. Tho they’re still young, I’m letting my young ones just vibe together like a bush for now
Like even at this size it doesn’t need a pole yet. You’re correct, never attach the monstera by the petiole to the pole.
Some last things, you have at least 3 plants in there. Maybe more. You can grow them that way but it will look sloppy when older. It’s near impossible to support 3+ healthy/big plants out of one pot. You’d have better luck putting those three in a small 2 inch pot for a while until they really outgrow it. Then move it up in size. Err on the side of keeping them dry, everyone overwaters them.

Oh i see! Damn okay i think i’ll let them mature a little bit in that pot and when they get bigger i’ll split them… thanks for the tips!

Yeah you can take that pole out haha. It will be months before you even need that.
