We bought our house in August last year and the tree was a nice normal green tree. It lost leaves in the fall like a normal good tree and now it’s been 2 weeks of pollenmaggedon and I am going to die. Everything is green, my allergies are going wild, I cannot open the windows because even with screened windows the pollen is e v e r y w h e r e. Is there anything I can do other than just suffer every year for the rest (seemingly short looking) life? Is there an end in sight? Is there anything I can do to tell my tree tha I come in good faith and would like to coexist? Please help

It’s kind of hard to tell without seeing what the leaves look like but it may be an oak or maple from the bark. Let me dig a little.
My male pistachio tree is dumping this crap all over my yard right now. Without seeing the leaves, I can’t tell for sure.
Southern live oak, as someone else said. One of the best trees to have for wildlife. They should stop splooging everywhere in a few weeks! 😅
Take an anti histamine, anti inflammatory and a decongestant at the same time. It helps! A nurse taught me that combo when I first moved to South Alabama and thought I was dying bc of my allergies! 🤧
Always when designing water features, must ask how much maintenance are you willing to commit to doing. I finally had a tree removed because of blossoms and leaf litter falling into the pond. Left.the trunk and branch stubs to hang flowering baskets.
Oak tree.
Allergy shots. Hepa air filter. Antihistamines. You can’t hide from trees the rest of your life.
Wait until spring when it sheds it’s blossoms, the whole neighborhood is going to smell like rotten fish.
is it some sort of Ash?
Could you get a shot of one of the twigs? The buds would be very helpful for identifying it. I am skeptical of the live oak answers, those do not normally drop their leaves in winter, and their male flowers aren’t in the same kind of dense branching clusters, but rather single strands.
