I dug up this monstera which was on a dried out part of the yard and was being blasted by the sun all day.

I want to make it an indoor plant and was wondering if I planted it correctly? I am used to plants with fibrous roots and this one seems to only have aerial roots. (The smaller ones are dried out and the big root was in the dirt that we dug out.) The large brown bit where the two plants are growing out of appears to be be dried out too.

I planted in a very free draining premium potting mix.

I have a few questions:
1. Will it survive on such a small root system?

  1. Is it planted at the correct depth?

  2. When do I start liquid feeding to boost growth?
