I have this carport frame – roughly 24’x10’ – that I’d like to convert to a simple polyfilm greenhouse, w/ no-dig beds. Any specific tips you have? I’m not sure what hardware exists that would work for mounting the plastic, nor how to frame out the ends for doorways. I’ll take any and all advice!

yo I have this EXACT SAME skeleton!!! I want to convert it into a greenhouse also. Lets collaborate! I did some research about using 2 layer poly sheeting but I think because of the way I have it oriented (one long is is facing north) I am going to use polycarbonate 6mil or 8mil sheets for the whole top and top half the south facing long roof and side and plywood on the other north long top and side. I have some links for a vendor of the polycarbonate I can post later. Framing out the endwalls seems straightforward to me, but I’m a carpenter by trade so I will sketch up my ideas and take some pics w my phone and post those too later. Sunny day today so I am going to work on my car and the neighbor’s truck. Rain tomorrow so I’ll be inside starting seeds and playing on the computer.

also the double sheeting method for greenhouses usually uses a channel and wiggle wire and since the framing is aluminum I think I can just screw the polycarbonate sheets directly to the frame.
