I have a 60ft long built in planter thing in my backyard. It is huge. Right now there is a large citrus tree (we don’t know what kind) growing in the corner. It’s blooming right now and smells amazing. I want to fill up the rest of the garden bed with some fragrant and beautiful plants. I bought a Cleveland Sage and a Mexican honeysuckle yesterday, but then I realized the garden gets zero sun all day. I guess I’ll have to move them to containers and place in a sunnier spot. The only places that do get sun are the far left and right corners, where the citrus tree and my newly planted pomegranate tree live. I’ve spent a few hours looking online and I fear “shade-loving”, “native”, and “drought and heat tolerant” is a bit of a tall order for plants. It seems like everything that might work is invasive. Does anyone know of anything I can grow there??
