You need to give us way more context like general location like NW Ohio or Central Michigan etc and you also need to add some sort of dimensions to the drawing like how many feet by how many feet?
First glance, you’ll want to be planting many more plugs unless you like the look of mulch beds with sparser plants but the best gardens have much denser planting.

That looks really nice. I drew my plan and just realized one side of the yard only has a couple of hours of full sun. I’m going to see if the hydrangeas will live there. I definitely have to change the plan.

Sorry for the lack of context!
I’m hoping for some advice about this planting arrangement. Located in zone 8A, Georgia, US. That area gets full sun until late afternoon/evening.
The plants are sized at their mature size according to the nursery, the Japanese maple (already established, hoping to keep and plant around) is 8ft diameter for reference. The orange and grey rectangles are the front porch and sidewalk, respectively. The thicker lines are a tiered boulder wall (3ft tall each) and the thinner line is the edge of the bed after the wall ends. The creeping phlox label is a bit small but they’re the small purple around the edge of the wall.
I’m hoping for some insight into how well these plants will work together, whether they’ll look nice height-wise with the hardscaping, etc. I’d love to provide a picture but unfortunately it’s a total from scratch project as the entire yard and planter was torn up with plumbing issues.
