I’m in Tampa, FL and we had a couple of days below freezing earlier in the year. I have some plants and wanted to see if I need to remove them or if they will come back.
Autograph tree, pitch apple, Clusia Rosea. The upper brown sections are indeed dead, they don’t like freeze. I would probably pull them all out and put in new ones, or maybe some areca palms, or if you’re looking for something that can withstand a freeze(here’s hoping we don’t get more freezes like that here in FL), maybe try some arboricola or podocarpus
