Hi yall, just wanted to share some photos of a project we have been working on in Coryell county, TX.
These 48 acres of Native Pecan groves had been overgrown with ashe juniper(<90% canopy) for the last 30 years, cleared them out using mechanical means, no chemicals applied, late last summer. This week we seeded the fields with 650 lbs of a custom low density mix containing several native grasses and forbs. I own a small Native plant nursery outside Gatesville tx and this project was purely a labor of love with the intention of improving wildlife habitat for our local fauna.
