Not sure which foliage gods they're conjuring, but they have the Midas touch when it comes to turning 'surviving' into 'thriving'.
This Monstera Deliciosa was a cutting from one I purchased at Lowe's about 4yrs ago, of which I've made numerous propogations, but none have ever had leaves larger than ~18". This guy came from a 2 leaf start we gave them 4 yrs ago (pic 4 is of the same plant in March '22).
Mind you, this has been done in Eagle River Alaska, with no grow lights & a close mountain range due South that blocks most of the winter sun. (They also took a sick Maranta from us around the same time with only 1 leaf remaining & have multipled it into double digit numbers of healthy, beautiful, bushy, flowering plants) #imnotjealous.
You can see the self-watering moss pole I recently made for them in pic 3, that we're going to try & train it up as they never really expected it to get this big & it kinda got out of hand…

Just out of curiosity, because they don't sell plants, what do you think a plant this size goes for? I saw a variegated version about half this size in a local shop that was $1200, but I think that variety is more rare.
Cheers!
