I use pine needles and leaves, wood mulch is for new plantings to get established, some people have 8 inches of mulch and their dirt has no oxygen…mulch happy people😮use plants to control weeds and soil erosion, they look good too.
Or you can just google ‘mulch calculator’ and fill in your measurements
