Careful, I’ve seen quite a few plants get literally cooked when they’re placed in front of brick walls, since brick/concrete holds so much heat.

I framed a large piece of landscape cloth and topped it with bark mulch in my driveway to set pots so they don’t overheat from the pavement. I’ve done this for several years now. I save the 2,x4s and the cloth and place the mulch in the garden beds in fall eastern Canada.
