Throwback Thursday to a planting detail in a Richard Miers Garden Design clients garden. Here we have a Hellebore finishing flowering and the grape hyacinths (Muscari) taking over and the wonderful fluffy leaves of Lambs Ears (Stachys byzantina) coming up. Always good to have a succession of flowers taking over when one finishes. Bulbs that were planted in the autumn are really working hard at this time of year but watch out for Muscari taking over completely as it self seeds freely.
