  1. I haven't had that reaction from companies….they fix it ..never are they ready to fleece me! All companies aren't like that!

  2. Just fyi on blood types. Type O requires more meat and dark meat of chicken is good for type O. Type A needs less meat and can get more protein from plant sources, beans, etc. Type B also requires much less meat and especially less chicken. Samantha might be Type A or B so don't force too much meat and make sure if they don't want chicken to make sure they aren't Type B.

  3. My great nephew, who is now grown, an engineer and married, was a “nerdy” child. He focused on so many odd things. I have always felt he was an old soul. And now in his late twenties, he is the same. I hope Benjamin grows up to be a comfort and source of pride for your family.

  4. We made a trip to Andrew’s a few years ago from West Richland wa (Tri-Cities). It was so much fun and well worth the trip! We are doing some landscape changes this year and are hoping to go again next spring. We have great nurseries here but it’s always so much fun to go to new places and Andrew’s is so special!
None of your videos are boring!

  5. Ok, just so you know I have started seeds for the 3rd year, all because of you sharing your seed starting. I might have went a little overboard this year… I started 100 echinacea (my favorite flower that I didn't know about until after watching your videos) and I only have a small city lot. Luckily one flower bed is open minus one small rose bush so most will got there if they make it and the others I will just be popped in other beds. Aaron is so right, sometimes we all get tired of what we do, but if you really love your job you will bounce back, if you realize you don't find something else. As someone who just changed jobs, I just want to say there are good ones out there! I knew I was not happy in my old job but I didn't realize how bad until I got my new job and it has renewed my work ethic, I love my new job! I think kids go through phases with their eating. I remember listening to DR. Dobson and someone asked him about kids not eatting and he said don't worry about it if they don't eat at one meal, they will eat at the next. I raised four kids and they ate what I prepared, we all ate the same thing, and they are all good eaters as far as they like to try new things and they eat a variety.

  6. I’m the same age as you, Laura, and I didn’t get braces until I was 13 or so and by then, it was too late to do a palette expander. I ended up having to do reconstructive jaw surgery in my 20s to expand my upper jaw, and ended up being in braces for much longer than most of my friends and into adulthood. My daughter had the same crossbite problem, and we did a two-phase orthodontic treatment, and she finished treatment right before her 15th birthday. I really, really wish that had been the recommended treatment when I was younger. Definitely get a second opinion to feel better about your choice.

  7. Hi Aaron and Laura, We did a major kitchen renovation and added a butlers pantry several years ago. The one thing I WISH I had done was a drawer or cupboard pullout especially designed for lids. I have all my pots and pans under the cooktop, which I love but lids are always in my way. It is so much fun watching your family grow up (they are the same age as our grandchildren). Thank you for sharing them with us 🙂

  8. Your seed starting vids- as long as we get pics of all the flowers you're starting then we're still inspired! Oh the dopamine rush from beautiful flowers 😍

  9. My dtr at 10 yrs old announced that my Brownies taste like they have rocks in them. The rocks were the walnut pieces her parents love 🍪

  10. 32:47 use PureCrop 1 – it is the most amazing pesticide/fungicide/systemic/preventative, etc I have ever used with my indoor plants and my garden. Just mix it strong and it’ll be good to go. It’s organic, and doesn’t hurt bees. It also has a very pleasant smell.

  11. Any time the 'not happening pool' is brought up, it gets more and more beautiful sounding ❤ TEAM POOL BABY! WERE SO BACK 😂 PS. You guys are a blessing to those delivery workers. Thank you for adding a little kindness to everything you touch ❤

  12. I bought an embroidery machine when I retired..5 years ago….haven't used it once!!!!

  13. I so agree with you about walnuts in cookies and brownies!!! However, I substitute rice krispies for nuts in my chocolate chip cookies as I like crunchy cookies.

  14. I worked in a public library for 10 years as a Circulation Clerk and people said that to us all the time. I think they thought we got to sit around reading all day reading, but it was a very physical and busy job. I loved it, but it's not a simple easy job. I can tell thee garden center requires a lot of hard work.

  15. Hey Laura and Aaron…..FYI…..I just searched 'how much rain can i capture from my roof in Ontario Oregon'…..crazy results! In Ontario, Oregon, you can capture approximately 0.46 to 0.56 gallons of water per square foot of roof area for every inch of rainfall, depending on your system's efficiency. Given Ontario's average annual precipitation of approximately 10 inches, a 2,000-square-foot roof could theoretically yield between 9,200 and 11,200 gallons of water per year.

P.Allen Smith had an underground water storage pit full of, basically, milk crates and he plumbed his roof downspouts to it. Then just buried it……possibly could be behind your barn. Just a thought 😉

  16. lAURA…….. why not create a Go-Cart track out there, and open it up to all of Benjamin and Samanthas friends. I can see Samantha hose Benjamin on a Go-Cart…………lol

  17. Invisalign braces are popular here. They may not correct all problems but they’re so much nicer than traditional

  18. My son's orthodontist had 9 boys of his own. My son had structural issues with his jaws that were causing him extreeme pain, but this orthodontist had the dentist pull a few select teeth and then we waited until he had his permeant teeth before starting with braces. He did need to have braces twice, but the total duration was a bit over a year the first time, as my son wore his rubber bands religiously. The second time was just for around 6 months. Waiting made a world of difference in the duration along with him wearing the rubber bands. I believe it is a good choice in looking at a second opinion and looking to wait.

  19. Our dentist recommended braces for our child when he was younger. It's more common now, according to the dentist, because the purpose of the braces is to make space for the adult teeth to come in properly. It's not cosmetic when it's younger. Also, most children who have braces at a younger age do not need them again to straighten adult teeth later because their teeth came in properly the first time. Again, only from our one dentist. Also, we did Invisalign, and it was much easier and less painful than traditional braces.

  20. Oh, mirror need means another antique shopping trip to Boise. I love those combined with that amazing garden center.

  21. I used to do interior painting which included wallpaper removal. Run to Home Depot and grab some liquid DIF wallpaper remover made by Zinsser. Mix it with the hottest water from the tap in a pump sprayer. Throw some old sheets on the floor to protect it and spray a section. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes. If it's really tough, you might have to spray a couple of times. It breaks down the glue from the wallpaper. When it's all down you can mix up some in a pail and was the walls to remove any glue left.

  22. My mom’s eating option was if we didn’t like what she made, we could make ourselves a pb & j sandwich. It almost never happened.

  23. I loved when you mentioned the Violas. I live in Ohio and purchased an older home in 2024 which was owned by an avid Gardener. I couldn’t wait to see which Perennials would appear, and much to my delight her front beds were loaded with varieties of sweet Purple, White and Yellow Violas. She called them Johnny-Jump-ups. They looked beautiful amongst the Daffodils, Purple Iris and Allium, and I then I simply cut them back when they started to wilt in the Summer.

  24. I’m still TEAM HORSES!!! I get so excited every time you mention them. I had to board my horse growing up, and I can’t imagine how incredible it would be to wake every morning and look out at that lush green pasture of grazing horses. 🐴 🐎 ❤️
