Hi, my Monstera Adansonii is growing so fast I can’t keep up with my mosspole. It isn’t really looking bushy, so I tought I could chop and prop? Would it be okay to cut on the line in the picture and put in back in the soil? Or first in water to let the roots grow a bit more?
Thank you!

My guess but dont take my words because Im at same level as you is yes, and then in a cup of water. I did exactly this, and a root started to pop really 2 weeks later, very long time. Im now at 4 weeks, the root is only 5mm long. I put mine front of window, around 3 hours of direct sun per day, it might be too much. I replaced the water only once, another topic to know if it’s good or bad, I keep reading mixed signals about it.
You can cut there yes (you even have an active node with new growth) but personally I’d root it separately in a rooting medium of your choice. They root great in water but I find there’s less transplant dramas when rooting in moss or perlite.
You always have to be ready to extend your moss poles, it is how you can then chop and extend indefinitely
Adansonii is a super fast grower
