Long story short, i bought these Bonsai Orange tree Seeds while at the Seed market in the Netherlands, but from when i planted(in october-november) till now they don t seem much like something that s gonna grow into an Orange tree, It seems more like normal grass. Have I been scammed?

Dude even if those seeds were real it’s gonna take years (probably decades) to have a similar tree.

If you want a bonsai i recommend you to buy a Jade tree, with the correct conditions and care they could have a nice bonsai shape.

Looks like nut grass. That’s what we call it where I am

When you eat oranges or any other citrus fruit including lemons just save the seeds and put them to germinate. They germinate easily. Zero costs 😉

I thought bonsai were exclusively made from cuttings and not seeds and that’s why they looked like trees even when they’re small. TIL.

  5. You could also go outside and find saplings. That’s what I did when I wanted to try bonsai.
