I am moving and have been very carefully checking my plants to make sure I’m not bringing any bad critters into my new home. I noticed this on the soil of one of my cacti. The Seek app thinks it is a type of fungi but I just wanted to double check. Do you think this is in fact a type of fungi or possibly an infestation of something else?

It’s just tricoderma, its a beneficial found in a lot of bagged and nursery soils. It’s harmless, but I would say if you’re watering enough for it to thrive like this, you’re probably watering too much for a cactus
The sclerotia of [Leucocoprinus birnbaumii](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leucocoprinus_birnbaumii), a super common fungus to houseplants/potted plants. It’s harmless to your plant.
You soil looks too dense & is probably holding water for too long. I would replant it in succulent soil with grit mixed in. Make sure the new pot had drainage holes as well.
Thank you all for your replies and for calming down my fears! I will keep this in mind and repot it with better soil once I move it. I didn’t water it during the winter and it was dry when I took this pic but it’s very likely I was slightly overwatering throughout the year.
