Found this little guy outside of work this morning; can it be saved?
I brought it inside and gave it a little bit of water because the soil in the pot was bone dry. Is it worth trying to recuperate? Not sure what kind of plant it is, and it doesn't seem completely dead.
It’s a syngonium, and yes, it’s definitely worth a try. Just clean up all the dead stuff water when the top 2 inches of soil is dry, and it should grow for you.

Couldn’t hurt to try

Remove the dead part, change the soil, and water it, but not too much, making sure the soil is dry enough to water. Put it in a sunny spot and keep an eye on it. Wish you luck with it.

If there is green there is something to save.

If its bone dry right now its going to need a deeper water. A lot of soil becomes hydrophobic and the water will just run right through unless you drown it for a half hour or so. Looks like it wants more light than it was getting before.
