Hey there, I have these pleiospilos simulans seedlings that are about one month old. In the past few days they've started to become discolored and some are dying back.

I have them under a humidity dome during the day with the vents opened. At night, I pull the lid off. There is a fan running at all times. I mist them once in the morning and once at night.

This is my first time growing them from seed. I have several other mesemb seedlings growing under the same conditions and none are exhibiting this behavior. Any advice is appreciated.

Damping off? It could be too humid for them at this point. Its been a while since I grew pleiospilos, but generally with mesembs after I have gotten germination I remove them from high humidity.

Yes agree with poster above. You should be removing them from humidity covers entirely and ensure they have good ventilation.

The type of damage here is stranger is it possible they got burnt? Either by sun or chemicals? Have you sprayed them with anything?
