Stationed our first fiddle leaf fig next to two large windows, facing north and east. It has dropped 4-5 leaves in the last week (pictured). We’ve watered it only once, when the top 2 inches of soil were dry to the touch. Outdoor temperatures have fluctuated a bit (US Midwest— 30s-60s Fahrenheit).

Any suggestions to help keep it from losing more leaves? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Mine lost many leaves when I brought it home, and continued to until I found the right place for it. The exposure is fine light-wise, but if those windows get cold, I’d move it a couple feet out from the corner. Then, just be patient, because you may see more loss. This is probably the best time, since it’s already suffering some shock, to go ahead and get it in the pot you want to keep it in–be certain you have a large, deep pan under the pot so you can water it a LOT when you water it. Having water flow through and drain into the pan ensures you won’t get a build up of salt, etc., from any plant food. Feed in spring.

But look up notching, so if it does what mine did and loses lots of those leaves, you can make sure it gets some new branches when it recovers.
