Got this baby. I am bad at planting so guide me how to proceed.

I am both exited and nervous (coz I am unlucky with plants). I got this fiddle leaf fig sapling yesterday in the pot as shown in the pic. This sub wiki says I should let it sit like that for a while. Currently soil is wet. Right now it is sitting in the southeast facing balcony so light shouldn't be a problem.

I have many questions. How do I repot it? Should I wait for soil to dry out before repotting ? What should be the pot size and soil mix? Any other points I should remember? What are the signs that this plant is thriving?

By the way, is this really a fiddle leaf fig plant? I am asking because leaves look so small and not so shiny as compared to other plants I see on this sub.
