Haven’t decided if I regret this decision. Did I do it right? Did I leave too much stick? The goal is for buds to grow along the whole remaining trunk, right?
Its top has honestly been pretty healthy for quite a while. Just lost a lot of leaves and it’s earlier days. It was also pretty tippy prior to his big chop.

Do you have rooting hormone? I’m no expert but maybe too many leaves for it to sustain but it may just shed a few. From my experience should be ok though. I just put my cuttings straight into soil and kept them moist
