so this is David, he’s a succulent of some kind and recently he got incredibly tall. I researched and found out he needed more light so I got him a grow light, it’s set to red/white light on a twelve hour cycle.

now though, he’s too tall to grow out anymore. he was bent over this morning so I tied him to a straw. I’d like to know if there’s anything I can do. trim him down, or cut off his top and plant it beside him? I know there are ways to do that with cacti.

i want my boy healthy. He will be getting a larger pot very soon, a week at the latest so he will have more room in every direction

Chop and prop. Don’t get a larger pot. Try 16 hours of grow light.

You can chop him and place the top directly next to David. It’ll eventually grow into the soil! Then you’ll have David and David Jr
