  1. Please learn to prune and sharpen your tools properly ! Each of those boxwoods you totally destroyed had a retail value of over $200.00 each! !

  2. Stone stair look nicer and it will last concrete y end up filling crack and it will drive any one who haft to do the matment and it lose the charm .

  3. Friendly reminder that ChatGPT is NOT a search engine.
It knows what facts 'look like' it doesn't know what facts actually are.

  4. I love your videos. I am so sad that the front door was just stripped of all character. The knocker should’ve been replaced with a dark antique and it’d have fit right in, looked very put together, and not builder box new home 😢

  5. Okay I can’t even finish this one. The fixtures went from fun and expensive to frat boy bachelor pad angular black builder grade. Omg bro 😭😭

  6. A tip for the gutters, spray with the bleach/chlorine and rinse first (not using pressure to clean them). Then come back and fill your pump sprayer with a 50/50 mix of "LAs Totally Awesome" and water. Spray the gutters and scrub them with a brush. Then just rinse with a garden hose and enjoy fresh looking white gutters. I ran a power washing company for a couple years and charged extra for this service and the home owners always loved the results!

  7. If you want to kill molds outside you should mix pool bleach and water at roughly a 30% mix. Use some dish soap to help it stick to the house and then spray off. Don’t let it dry though.

  8. Anyone could have told you that if you cut boxwood back a little at a time you can keep it green and eventually get them cut back enough to be inside the landscape area. You removed nice shrubs for no reason at all.

  9. problem with those boxwoods or ANYTHING, cut them WAY WAY WAY back, and clip way into it, so sunshine actually gets into the inside of the shrub! As soon as you clip it way back, it will be so happy! So you took out tons of shrubs that shouldn’t have been pulled out;

  10. next time use 30 SECONDS liquid, Use it every year on the gutters and vinyl siding that get mold and it does a really good job without scrubbing. good luck!!

  11. Whats the point of window shutters that dont close? It must be an American thing? I've lived in a few different countries and never seen them fixed into the wall, seems pointless?

  12. Everyone knew you were going to rip out the shrubs before you even started. Killing plants is trending! No respect for nature, or the climate and just using Chat GPT only adds to the environmental insult. You could have cut the boxwood back hard, but who wants to wait a year for "maximum MAKEOVER REVEAL!" appeal? Congrats on cranking out another cookie cutter, no- maintenance rental-ready box, complete with the trashy cyan door everyone's doing. The machete scene was just ridiculous, by the way. But manly man, ugh! 🙄

  13. I liked the original door color. Black would go well with the color of the brick. The blue doesn’t do anything for the house.

  14. For the steps I would just leave the wood steps and paint it the same color as the door, the same with the Shutters.

  15. Mine got very woody and they’re 30 yrs old. I just trimmed them to baby size last Spring and I now need to trim them again this Spring! They are the fathers of my yard. I even got babies from last year that I rooted from them. Definitely big daddies!

  16. Nice work! The blue door, the upgraded lights, everything looks modern and welcoming.
Dark brown stained shutters might look nice against that brick, and a partial rail (doesn’t have to go all the way around )where there’s leftover paint on the brick would look pretty sharp. You could even use a combination of wood or stone and aluminum to make it look dressy (like jewelry for your front porch).

  17. Brad, what you do is great. Always fun to watch. I learn a lot from your videos. I'm 68 yo and hate doing the manual labor because my knees and back cant take it. I try to do as much as I can, sometimes taking awhile to complete. I might also hire someone to do some projects for me. Anyway, thank you for ALL your instructional, educational videos. Greatly appreciated.

  18. The blue! Is a little much! The black! Is not! Good! With the white! Trim! The lights, are to flocking!!! Big! And they should have been white! You cant see the door pull with the bright! Blue!!! Should have, used a darker blue! Navy, blue or colonial blue! Or a sage, green! Looks like a duplex the brick stairs look so much better!

  19. Ok, NO! I don't like what you did. Very plain, boring, typical, same thing you see everywhere. You should have left the bushes!!! I liked the maroon door. Should have just tidied it up. Each to their own. In MY opinion NO. We need to bring back gardens not man made straight line everything.
