Got this FLF from Lowe's a couple of years ago. I let it get too dry before I brought it inside for the winter and a lot of leaves got damaged and some fell off. I think it's actually two different plants that have been in the same pot since I bought it. Would you leave it as is and put it on the porch, or cut it up and making 3-4 different plants to encourage it to branch and grow bushier? It's about to go back out on the porch where it will get lots of sun and wind exposure.

I would leave it for a while and see what happens before splitting it up.

I don’t have any advice, but I love the Ikea basket. Do you like it for your fiddle?

Leave it as is but pinch out all new growth from the tops.

You could separate them next time you repot them, but you really don’t need to if you don’t want. It’s extremely common to grow several of them in the same pot. Each trunk will grow more quickly if they have their own pot, but it’s not a big deal.

Mine came with 4 trunks in the same container. The first time I repotted it, I removed the skinniest one and gave it its own pot. 5 years later, it’s thicker than any of its siblings that still share a pot together. BUT all 4 are still nice and healthy.
