I uncovered some uncomfortable truths beneath my garden and it killed my original plans.

Flooding meant the underground cinema was impossible… so we changed everything.

This video marks the start of a completely new direction, a new vision, and a garden transformation that could become a £1M masterpiece.

Thank you to everyone for rescuing my plans:

  1. 28:41 that poor olive tree is going to rot. They don’t like having wet roots. This area is prone to flooding as well. Even if it does survive she will look miserable. Better to raise them or keep them in a pot. (We have olive groves in Portugal and Crete)

  2. Hi Mark, loving watching your videos and that your constantly giving back. If your up for a trip to Hull for a full garden project, we’ve current for a 3 foot drop at the back of the house and a massive pile of rubble from the old garage as a feature at the end of the garden, also three kids under 3 😅

Would be amazing if you would even consider doing our project!

Love your videos, keep it up it’s good to see!

  3. one thing i would look at is taking the tv apart and conformal coating all the circuit boards. this will help protect from humidity. i would also maybe run a dehumidifier pipe to the box to keep it nice and dry

  4. Watching your videos is so inspiring but not achievable for me! I would love a new garden done by you guys please as I so want a place outside to connect with my family and friends! Our present garden is so in need of your help!! Please help us out with a dream garden!! Thank you!! ☺️ Lawn Stripes and Hedges – Limited

  5. We’re not asking for luxury just a space to build memories.

We’re a family of three with a dog, and at the moment our outdoor space just isn’t somewhere we can enjoy. With costs the way they are, creating something safe and usable feels out of reach.

A garden makeover wouldn’t just improve our home it would give us a place for birthdays, summer evenings, and childhood memories that last forever ❤

  6. as said below.. a tv outside or any electrical stuff – radios, hi-fi wont last very long. You should have gone for a projector. Alot easyre – far bigger screen and with bad wearther you just bring the projector in.

  7. My dad started creating a Japanese-inspired garden when he moved my grandad’s 22-year-old koi fish into a pond he built from scratch. My grandad has Alzheimer’s now and lives with my parents, and the dream was to create a peaceful space where they could all spend time together by the pond. Unfortunately the English weather had other plans and the garden ended up half-finished and a bit of a mess. My dad loves his garden so much and I’d just love to see it completed properly so he can finally sit back and enjoy it — and so my grandad can enjoy those koi in a beautiful, calming space again. It would mean the world to our family.

  8. Hi there mark i wanted to see if you could do my garden it’s my mums dream to have a nice garden
And has dreamed for 17 years since Shes been living here

  9. It would have been so much easier to hire a concrete truck to come out and dump the concrete. That’s standard here in the USA, isn’t expensive and saves you tons of time. I don’t know if the UK has that service, but it saves your back.

  10. I have only just watched this video , I know nothing about electrics other than they are not water friendly 😂, anyway from a non professional , run of the mill consumer , I am super impressed , you have worked wonders and so hard , if determination and sheer hard work succeeds with a fully functioning beautiful garden then you have cracked it Mark , I’m sure you don’t need fingers crossed but here they are 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞well done ❤
