A friend of mine gifted me this pup over the holidays and I’d like to get it rooted. How would I go about it properly?

  1. Stick it in a cactus friendly substrate, keep it somewhere with maybe airflow and no direct sunlight and just wait a month or two. Substrate should be 60-70% pumice or perlite.

Since it’s so small you might have to wait a bit longer than normal, it might take up to six months.

Don’t water until roots appear. Then water at most once every 2 weeks if soil is completely dry.
