In my previous post I've said that I've brought four succulents to replant from my neighbor but one dried away…so out of the four I was able to save one. How am I supposed to replant this 😭where are the roots…pardon my lack of knowledge dear friends. I asked for three more succulents from my neighbor, she gave me 😁. Could anyone tell me how I am supposed to replant this baby.

  1. Just toss it onto some dry soil, give it enough light (they don’t need direct light at this point), and ignore it. It will do its thing.

Roots? Well, this little fella doesn’t have any yet. Leaf props are little oddballs who work at their own pace and do what they want to do when they want to do it. It can take days or weeks or months or even a year or more for a leaf prop to do anything. Some will grow roots first. Some will grow a baby plant first. Some will only ever grow one or the other. Some will never do anything. It’s all just a waiting game.

But again, just toss it onto some dry soil and forget about it. If/when it grows roots, they will find their way into the soil.

I’ll call the !propagation bot for more info.
