I started trying to grow corn, parsley, basil, and green onions but on one windy day this past weekend, my mom decided to put my seedlings outside on the railing of our back yard (right off that railling). It obviously fell and she tried putting it back (still hasn't said im sorry either). I'm finally calm enough to assess the damages but don't know anything about plants. Should I just start over or try to save them. There was one that was growing beautifully but now it's wilting. Im still pretty upset about it but I have to either fix it or start over atp cuz ruminating isn't gonna do anything for this situation. Thanks in advance!

Yes I would try again. These things happen unfortunately, I’m sure she wasn’t trying to ruin everything even though putting it on a railing probably wasn’t the best idea

You might want to think about getting some seeds for things that are easier to grow. Basil and parsley you can try again but corn doesn’t transplant well and it gets really big fast so if you have a spot outside I would plant the kernels straight into the ground

Onions take a long time to start from seed, but they sell what are called onion sets which are like baby onions, or you can even take onions from the cupboard and place them on top of soil and they will grow really fast and then you can harvest green onion shoots anytime you want. I’ve even grown onions like that on top of a glass of water and the roots grow down in the water and it looks really nice

Anyway I hope this helps and don’t feel discouraged!
