Super excited about my first ever garden! Started this round of seeds feb 20th and so happy to see little sprouts already! So far only sporuted are the marigolds, basil, other herbs and some tomatoes. I'm definitely looking forward to my first growing season. Any tips are appreciated, I'll be doing raised bed gardening if that matters. Would love to find a gardening mentor to ask all my stupid newbie questions to also! 😅

That’s what we’re here for!
Welcome.. its like therapy for me. Best feeling ever.
You will get more and better replies if you have specific questions. This entire sub is filled with tips for new gardeners. Gardening is a giant category. Narrowing your focus to something like, “How long should I leave my lights on per day with my seedlings” will net you much more valuable replies. Using the search feature on the sub homepage can help. There’s lots of really great and experienced gardeners in this sub that will be glad to help you along your journey.
You will wonder why it took so long to garden once you get going. It is a feeling that’s so hard to describe!
Starting advice- Enjoy all of the wins, every single seedling that you see is a win, first true leaf a win, healthy plants that’s a win… And losses or oops moments should only be a lesson learned and don’t let them curb your joy!
Welcome to the wonderful world of Gardening, wishing you much joy and great harvests!
