I should preface this by saying I am still new-ish to FLFs.

I recently chopped a healthy FLF that was getting to be too tall. I propagated the cuttings in water, but the leaves were huge and a pain to mess with.

I could have sworn, in another post somewhere, I saw someone recommended cutting the leaves to conserve moisture. Well, I tried it (without doing my own research) and my leaves have quickly developed brown edges and discoloration in some spots.

Did I kill my cuttings? Will they still root?

Wondering if I should try to salvage these or just toss them and try again next time 😂
