I was told to just keep it in water but the Dunkin’ Donuts cup doesn’t seem like it would be suitable long term? I have seen how big they can get 😅

Why are the leaves droopy? What are the spots on the back of the leaves? What kind of pothos is this? I think my co worker said golden pothos but I have the memory of a goldfish lol.

Sooo see if you have a clear glass container that allows you to submerge the bottom horizontal part of the cutting but let the rest out in the air.
Find a place that has some light, not all bright and not all shade. Keep the water clean and full.

I can’t post a photo but I have had 4 cuttings of pothos growing in water since November I think. It has roots that are about 4 inches long and new leaves popping up. Change water once every week to two weeks(some people go longer), i forgot for a few weeks and they were fine and will be as long as there is water. When the roots get a few inches long you can put in soil or continue in water with hydroponic fertilizer once in awhile.

You can also just lay the nodes in soil, lightly
Cover with soil and they should take off but I lost a big portion of my cuttings this way because it’s easy to over and underwater props imo. Water is working way better for me

If you want a plant with many growth points you can cut in between each leaf and node and start 3 vines. Just leave them out of water over night and let the stem callous so they don’t immediately rot. I recently did this with a bunch of cuttings from a couple different pothos and I can’t wait to see them potted up. The roots look like noodles now 🥰
