Just woke up to this.. 🙁 This crested cacti has gone squishy relatively fast, perhaps in two days. Planning to cut the green parts out and try to root it. Any things I'd need to consider?

Quickly slice a nice chunk of the healthy part before it spreads to the core. It can be saved!
