I got some organic blueberries rather than the normal brand I get from the store and these look and taste different than what I’m used to. They’re more red/purple inside and taste a bit crunchy. Are they still good to eat?
It’s hard to tell from just the inside pic but you could have huckleberries not blueberries. They tend to be dark inside and have crunchy seeds. They look and taste similarly, at least the ones that grow wild near me in NH.

Blueberries come in lots of varieties that ripen early, late, and mid season. This is probably a different variety than you are used to. They are not in season in the northern hemisphere, so if you are there, it was likely imported from a southern hemisphere country (locally that’s Chile for me). That opens up other varieties as options.
