Where do you live? Not to be creepy, just a general area would be good to know. I am near Montreal and that's about when I get frost too and I am wondering if that would work for me…
I'm in South Florida. I don't get frost, I want a garden so badly but so many that I watch are doing it in areas where they have such DRASTICALLY growing season.
I also live 2 blocks from the ocean, so my soil is so sandy, and the salt has burned so many things I want to growwwwww.

I have a container garden on my deck and can cover when nights get cold to extend season…had tomatoes on Thanksgiving last year
