I would somehow cut the pot, I know they can be pricey but this roots are so beautiful!

I’m not an expert and defer to horticulturists and plant science specialists.

In my own very recent experience with this species, the massive roots in the medium may no longer be serving a purpose. Those massive aerial roots, however, may prove useful in starting new plants.

I recently chopped and propped multiple nodes of a rehab Thai Constellation plant, thus far have favorable outcomes. I now have three thriving plants that I can help grow into a desired look while following their natural instincts to climb.

If you do decide you like the look and shape of your plants (yes, there are at least two in the pot); repot at least size up. I’m not sure your attachment with that nursery pot specifically, but if you want your plants to thrive—they need room to grow.

Monsteras are a very fast growing species when provided with adequate light, nutrients and room to thrive.

Cut the pot and try to save the roots as much as you can. Your baby needs a bigger pot to grow and mature!

You can cut the pit or the roots. As long as you’re not cutting more than 1/3 of the root system the plant should be fine. Just note that if you upside the pot, the plant will focus on root growth so may take a while to put out new leaves!

    How shall I put it?
It’s a question of conflicting interests: you’d rather keep your monstera in that pot, your monstera obviously wants out of that pot. Picture tells me the monstera is winning 😁
The sooner you’ll get her a new pot, the easier it will be, but be prepared for a bit of a stressful repot involving cutting tools anyway.

The roots look like they’re weaving a basket. So beautiful

    She’s making spaghetti! Lol

I would just cut the pot off and put it in a bigger pot. There’s no way with roots like that, that there’s still soil in there.
