Hyacinth. The bloom don’t last. These are spring flowers that last several weeks and are then done.

Those are hyacinths! You won’t be able to keep the blooms forever, but these plants are relatively easy to care for!
Because these plants are tuber plants, it’s not super common to keep them indoors. But it’s not impossible! After the blooms die off, you’ll cut the flower stalks down to the base. Don’t mess with the leaves – those are used to store energy. The leaves will eventually die, then you can cut them off if you want. At this point, you should only have the bulb and roots left. Put the plant in a cool place and then the plant lie in dormancy until the spring. I know people who take the bulb out and put it into a brown bag and leave it in their crisper drawer.

When spring hits, replant in a slightly larger pot and sloooowly introduce the plant to light. Too much light at once will shock it.

Hyacinth. A spring flower bulb. When flowers are done, clip the flowers stalks off, fertilize the plant, and place somewhere with bright sun light. As the leaves die back in spring, dig up the bulbs, clip off leaves and roots, and store bulbs somewhere cool, dark, and dry, all summer. Plant in the ground in Fall. They will bloom again in spring and come back every year
