I was told the plant is at least a few years old. Never yet bloomed. I like it even as it is. Sadly, some of the long points it shot upward broke in transport. Don't mind the coleus, I cannot resist.

This is an epiphyllum, likely a “hookeri” which gets mistaken for a night blooming cereus often because of their similarities. A very beautiful and healthy plant. I’m sure it will bloom for you eventually. Mine had to be root bound before it did, but now it shows off consistently during season. Don’t fret about those points that broke off – plant them and make more!

    A gorgeous coleus!

Cool, dryer period for a month or so will stimulate flowers. Warmth & water keeps the plant growing, but no flowers. That one looks old enough to flower.
