Opuntia Microdasys are awesome plants. Native to Mexico. Make sure you give it bright light as they are a desert plant. If not they will stretch and look silly.
For watering, it requires a good soaking until it drains out, then you let it dry. **Do not** give it sips every 5-7days or whatever the person said. The roots don’t like to stay wet and that could lead to root rot. It looks like the soil is well draining which is good.
During their dry season in Mexico (winter) they require less watering, and more frequent watering in the summer months.
