    Some native plant nurseries sell them as starts. I also want to try growing them (they are native where I am). Even if I don’t harvest them they are resilient plants that attract pollinators.

    See if there’s a gardening swap group in your area. I found a couple on Facebook. That’s how I got my fartichokes. Every year somebody at one of mine is sharing sunchoke tubers.

    Many garden seed companies sell them like Gurney’s Burpee’s, Fedco, Jonny Seed. The more commonly used name is Jeruselm Artichoke. You’ll also want the domestic over wild type.

    I bought some in the fall and put them in a pot. I’m in zone 9 and they haven’t sprouted yet.
