Get it in the ground! My garlic is sprouting without any help at all….its that time of year when it just wants to grow:)

I’ve had the best luck (zone 4b) by planting it in late October and harvesting in July. Probably depends on your climate and what variety you are planting. I always grow hard neck varieties and my climate gets pretty darn cold. Right now it’s -5F but my Russian red garlic is sleeping peacefully under a thick mulch of pine needles and will be the first thing to pop up come Spring.

It’s Garlic ? I thought it was a onion, we have onions that look like these here in Nepal.
