Someone gifted my mom these flowers and I'm worried they might be harmful to my cat. Could someone please help in identifying them? My cat snuck into the room they were quarantined in and now I'm really worried about whether this warrants a visit to the vet. TIA

Gladiolus. Yes they are moderately toxic including all parts of the plant.
Those are gladioli; I didn’t know they were harmful to cats.
Those are Gladiolus. Yes, they are toxic to cats. The most toxic part is the bulb, but the foliage and flowers can cause drooling, vomiting, and lethargy. If you see teeth marks or missing petals, call your vet or Pet Poison Helpline immediately just to be safe!
Thank you so much, everyone! I’m keeping a close eye on my boy. He was only exposed to the flowers for a few seconds; I caught sight of him right as he jumped on the table to inspect them closely and immediately moved him away. I wiped him down with a wet cloth, bagged the flowers up, and contacted the vet just in case. Hoping all stays okay. Thank you again
Unsure. I need a picture of the cat to verify ☺️.
(Yeah you’d want to keep it away)
